About the series
Once there was a boy nicknamed Uncle Fyodor. He loved animals very much, but his parents wouldn't hear of having a tailed, shaggy creature in their apartment. So Uncle Fyodor, together with his new friends — Matroskin the cat and the faithful dog Sharik — had to set off for the village of Prostokvashino.
