About the title
A former CIA agent from a top-secret unit was captured and tortured with a truth serum that had memory loss as a side effect. Nick doesn't remember how he escaped captivity, but learns from his handler that he unwittingly became a traitor, giving up the real names of his entire unit. Like his former colleagues, he's been suspended from duty as a compromised agent and lives a quiet life under an assumed name in a small town. But he's forced to take up arms again after a series of murders targeting his former comrades.
