About the series
Voronezh, early 2000s. Daria, a 35-year-old impulsive and sardonic worker at a chemical plant, lives in a three-room apartment. Just as a relationship is starting to develop between her and the plant's director, Roman, her ex-husband Dima announces that he has changed and wants her and their teenage daughter Tanya back. At the same time, her younger sister Lena moves into the apartment with her husband Seryoga and their two children after a fire in their village. On top of that, Daria's and Lena's parents also live there. In the end, nine people end up living under one roof.
