About the title
The action takes place three billion years before the main events of the Transformers films. Orion Pax is an ordinary worker on Cybertron. He labors for the good of robot society alongside his best friend D-16. But everything changes for the two when Cybertron faces a new threat. Prime Alpha Trion grants Orion, D-16, and their comrades Bumblebee and Elita the ability to transform. Orion takes the name Optimus Prime and, as the leader of the Autobots, gives the enemy a powerful rebuff. D-16, meanwhile, decides amid the conflict to lead the Decepticon army and seize power on Cybertron. He becomes Megatron — the future sworn enemy of Optimus Prime.
