About the title
The story centers on a girl named Bonnie, who is now eight years old. A smart tablet called LilyPad enters her life. The device quickly becomes Bonnie's main source of entertainment: it connects her to online communication, and she spends less and less time on traditional play with toys. This is a serious challenge for Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the other characters. They face a threat: while they once had to share the child's attention with other toys, now they're competing with digital technology. Jessie feels this especially keenly: she sees Bonnie growing distant and tries to bring her back to real interaction and imaginative play.
