About the title
In 1928, the dog Togo helped prevent a diphtheria epidemic in the town of Nome, Alaska. Harnessed together with other sled dogs, Togo, despite terrible weather conditions, managed to deliver a package of antitoxin to the town, stopping the spread of the disease.
