About the series
Sasha Livneva, a police investigator from the capital and the daughter of an Interior Ministry general, is transferred to the quiet provincial town of Lazarevsk. What such a stylish city girl is doing in the backwater is unclear. Her new colleagues suspect the reason might be personal... especially since Sasha keeps her distance from her attractive male colleagues, preferring the company of Korotkov, who's practically retired. The capital sophisticate and the life-worn provincial cop unexpectedly find kindred spirits in each other. And Sasha's personal circumstances do turn out to be complicated — and become even more so once she arrives in Lazarevsk...
