About the series
A documentary series about the smallest living creatures on our planet, filmed using state-of-the-art technology. Viewers will see many things for the first time — such as how dwarf geckos behave in the Caribbean, how the tri-tri fish bravely climbs waterfalls more than 50 meters high, or how Harris's antelope squirrel chews on rattlesnake skin to mask its own scent. One of the series' most epic battles shows male coquí frogs guarding their egg clutches, fighting off attacks by snails. The smallest animal filmed for the project is a coral planula (1 mm); the longest slow-motion sequence follows chipmunks — it had to be shot entirely at half speed, since chipmunks are constantly in motion and under normal conditions people can't catch what they're doing. The narration is voiced by Paul Rudd, who played Ant-Man in the Marvel cinematic universe.
