About the title
The father of 12-year-old Leila made time travel possible. When a powerful corporation begins hunting the scientist, he flees to Vancouver with his daughter, where the girl enrolls in a prestigious school for gifted children. There, Leila and three other talented students join a secret time-travel project. Due to an accident, the children end up in ancient Baghdad. The year is 825, and the evil alchemist Fasid is planning to destroy all scientists. The young heroes must journey along the Silk Road to save the people who gave the world modern science.
