About the title
The film is based on real events. Kazakh SSR, 1979. Under the guidance of a more experienced colleague, a young investigator tries to track down a cannibal serial killer. The investigation is complicated by the fact that the country is preparing to host the Olympic Games, and the authorities have no interest in such cases becoming public.
