About the title
After a series of tragedies, including the death of his father-in-law, Robert and his wife Maya leave London to return to the house of her childhood. Soon Robert discovers an old portrait in the attic of a man who looks exactly like him, like two peas in a pod. Trying to find out the identity of his mysterious double, whom everyone simply calls the Visitor, Robert falls down the rabbit hole of madness, for it turns out that wherever the Visitor goes, death follows.
