About the series
The book "The Unlikely Murderer" is a fictionalized interpretation of how Stig Engström, a graphic designer who was named as the probable killer of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, managed to evade justice until his death through a combination of audacity, luck, and police bewilderment. What do we know about Stig Engström? How could the police let him go despite having found his trail? The murder was not well planned, Engström did everything wrong from the very start, and almost no one believed his lies about what he was really doing on that fateful night in 1986 in Stockholm, Sweden.
