About the title
Successful New York editor-in-chief and socialite Parker leads a debauched life, alternating between work and entertainment while forgetting about everything else. When this leads to predictably sad consequences, on the advice of loved ones she goes to the countryside to see a trendy new-age guru who is supposed to help her become a new person. However, it turns out that everything doesn't quite work the way she expected, and a series of unexpected discoveries awaits her.
