About the title
Three friends set off to spend the weekend at a luxurious house recently bought by one of their fathers — in the Mojave Desert, with no sign of civilization for dozens of miles around. In the evening they watch an incredibly beautiful meteor shower, and afterward something falls into their pool. Soon the network and phones stop working, and the "something" turns out to be a living creature.
