About the title
Robbie inexplicably survived a catastrophe that killed his girlfriend. Now he's willing to do anything for just one more chance to talk to her. A fortune teller tells him about a ritual, and to perform it the young man gathers a group of desperate people to begin an ancient game. But death needs no special invitation — it is ready to come for the survivors itself and offer them its own game.
