About the series
After Frank Castle's family is killed in a shootout between New York gangs, he decides to take revenge and begins hunting down the city's criminals. In the criminal underworld he becomes known as the Punisher. Having avoided prison thanks to Karen Page's efforts, Frank Castle, nicknamed the Punisher, not only kept his life and freedom but also finished what he started — killing off the few remaining bastards responsible for his family's death who had previously managed to hide. But this brought him no peace; the former soldier is still haunted by nightmares and visions, which he tries to suppress through hard labor.
