About the title
Mrs. Wheeler is a despised but fair teacher who keeps the whole school in fear. Teachers are stunned by her authority, students groan under the weight of assignments, and, as always, parents have no time. Two desperate teenagers resort to an extreme measure: spreading a false rumor online that Mrs. Wheeler is a murderous maniac responsible for a student's mysterious disappearance. Everyone around happily believes the made-up story. The prank soon sets off a chain of revelations, and the quiet small town is plunged into a nightmare.
