About the title
Gabriele Amorth was a Catholic priest. During his lifetime, he held the post of chief exorcist of the Vatican. Over the course of his career, the hero of "The Pope's Exorcist" performed numerous exorcisms. Gabriele died in 2016 at the age of ninety-one.
