About the title
Trying to survive in the city, inseparable friends — Surly the squirrel and Buddy the rat — stumble upon a store packed to the ceiling with their favorite treat: nuts. Feeling that "dreams come true," the pair plan the greatest heist in rodent history. But then, quite inconveniently, their poor relatives from the park show up — practically thirteen friends of Peanut! However, none of them realize that the nut store is just a front for a gang of robbers planning to dig a tunnel under a bank and swap the bags of money for bags of those very nuts.
