About the title
The main character is a teenager named Thomas, who wakes up in an elevator remembering nothing but his own name. He finds himself among other teenagers who have learned to survive in an enclosed space. A new boy arrives every 30 days. The group has been living in "the Glade" for three years now. They feed themselves on what they manage to grow from the land and try to find a way out of the maze that surrounds their home. But one day a girl arrives in a coma, and in her hand the boys find a note saying that she is the last one. Will Thomas and his friends be able to escape the maze?
