About the series
Justin Falls (Naomie Harris) is a former scientist and single mother now barely making ends meet while caring for her ailing father and teenage daughter. It's during this difficult period that she gets a call from the police, asking her to come pick up an acquaintance of hers they have detained. But upon arriving at the station, Justin realizes she has never seen this man before in her life. The behavior of the stranger (Chiwetel Ejiofor), who claims to have arrived from another planet, can hardly be called normal, but he genuinely seems to know something about Justin herself and about her research, which had previously failed to win recognition or approval from the scientific community.
