About the title
Young Grace marries journalist Richard and must now become stepmother to his two children. Mia and Aiden aren't exactly thrilled about it: unlike their smitten father, they haven't forgotten their mother, who took her own life after the divorce. What's more, Grace is the daughter of the founder of a cult that committed mass suicide 12 years ago, so the children believe their father traded their mother for a psychopath. To help Mia and Aiden get to know Grace better, Richard sends the family to spend a few days before Christmas at a house far from civilization.
