About the title
The main character is a simple traveling salesman named Jim, who wanders from town to town selling knives. He's long since grown tired of this life, but sees no other prospects. His next shift brings Jim to a small town in Arizona. There he runs into fugitive criminals who have just robbed a bank. Every police precinct is already hunting them, forcing the robbers to take Jim hostage. The knife salesman thus realizes he's in terrible danger. Where are they taking him, and what will happen to him once the villains reach their destination? Realizing he can only rely on himself, Jim fights to save himself. Even the smallest mistake could prove fatal, and hoping the police will arrive in time is clearly not an option. Will Jim manage to escape this insane situation, save his own life, and avoid getting into even worse trouble?
