About the title
The most dangerous and ruthless drug lord escapes FBI custody and, taking a hostage, races toward the Mexican border in a sports car. Standing in his way is only a quiet little town watched over by Sheriff Owens. He was once one of the best cops in Los Angeles, but fled to the quiet backwater to escape the ugliness of the big city. Now Sheriff Owens is the last line of defense against the criminal.
