About the title
2013. A mysterious epidemic instantly spreads across the planet: now the world is ruled by agoraphobia—the fear of open spaces. The people who survive hide underground or inside buildings. Office clerk Mark is caught by the epidemic at work. His pregnant wife, who is about to give birth, is at home. He needs to get back to her, but he can't go outside. Mark begins his journey through underground passages, making his way from one basement to another, from one subway tunnel to the next.
