About the title
A gang of thieves led by Charlie Croker races at full speed through the streets of Los Angeles in Mini Coopers, even diving into the subway. The gang is trying to get their loot — a safe stuffed with gold — to a safe place. Driving in Los Angeles with its monstrous traffic jams isn't easy, so the gang has arranged a "green light" for themselves in advance: every traffic light along their route shows nothing but green. For everyone else, accordingly, the lights show red, triggering the most epic traffic jam in the history of Los Angeles.
