About the series
The animated series "The Inspector," also known as the theatrical cartoon "The Inspector," first appeared on screens in 1965. Over four years, 34 episodes were made, each featuring an inspector of the French Sûreté as the main character. This amusing character was so popular that in 1969 he moved into the new animated series "The Pink Panther," where he was given the name Inspector Clouseau.
