About the title
The plot is based on the bestselling novel by Freida McFadden. A young woman named Millie tries to escape her past and takes a job as a housemaid in the wealthy Winchester family's home. It seems like a chance to start over... but she soon realizes that hidden beneath the luxury are dark secrets, dangerous games, and psychological manipulation. And her attic room locks from the outside. The closer Millie gets to the shocking truth, the more obvious it becomes: her own secrets won't stay hidden either.
