About the title
Based on the book of the same name by Joanna Molloy and John "Chickie" Donohue. 1967. To morally support his friends fighting in Vietnam, Chickie Donohue decides to personally treat them to American beer. The trip, which starts out as a spontaneous adventure, fundamentally changes his views on life and war.
