About the title
Jake Russell wants to give his fiancée Cassie the perfect Christmas gift. He comes up with a wonderful idea — to have a Christmas wedding — but unforeseen obstacles arise that they must overcome in order to get married. Unexpectedly, an ex-convict named Leon Dix arrives in town, searching for money he hid in Cassie's house. Jake also can't find Cassie's documents, which need to be taken to the registry office. And on top of that, the dog ate the wedding cake, and now Jake must find a new one no matter what. And finally, Jake's kids aren't too thrilled about their dad's plan.
