About the title
When a donor heart unexpectedly arrives at a New York hospital, the organ transplant committee has one hour to decide which of three patients deserves the life-saving heart. The fateful decision rests in the hands of five doctors, including the cynical but brilliant cardiac surgeon Boxer, the idealistic newcomer Jordan, and the exhausted bureaucrat Gilroy. Disputes over the heart intensify, ethics clashes with bribery, and the committee members must answer the question of what matters more: morality or money?
