About the title
The film tells the story of Ray Kroc, the man who built the world's most famous fast-food restaurant chain, McDonald's. Every self-respecting man aspires to such success, though most people at 52 are already thinking about retirement, declining energy, losing interest in the opposite sex, and the impossibility of changing life's established course. But not Ray Kroc, who was seized by such a burning desire that the "goldmine" he found eventually brought him an astronomical sum of money. It was as if he'd drunk an elixir of youth, throwing himself headlong into achieving the proverbial American dream. Everything worked out for him.
