About the title
The Black Bandit, a runaway African slave named Otta Benga, an Indian sage, Italian revolutionary Luigi, and naturalist Charles Darwin are the heroes of a fairy tale told by Roy, a Hollywood stuntman injured after a failed stunt on a bridge. In a Los Angeles hospital, his fantastical story is listened to by a five-year-old girl named Alexandria. But one day Roy learns that his beloved has betrayed him. He no longer wants to live and decides to end his life.
