About the title
"The Factory" is made in the best traditions of the genre: on screen is an obsessive villain acting according to a cunning scheme — outwardly a completely typical American with a steady job and a private house in the suburbs. His goal is abduction, but his purpose runs deeper. The perpetrator acts methodically and without a single slip-up, until, quite by chance, he kidnaps the daughter of a detective who has long been on the trail of the maniacal criminal.
