About the title
The paintings of the eccentric aristocrat Louis Wain share one common trait — he paints nothing but anthropomorphic cats. Thanks to the love of his wife Emily, Louis forever changes the way people view life and cats. But with each new painting, Louis's whimsical worlds increasingly begin to replace reality for him.
