About the title
Thousands of aspiring actors set out to conquer the Dream Factory in hopes of becoming famous, rich, and successful. But not everyone manages to land leading roles in blockbusters. In the end, some have to settle for life as a waiter on the outskirts of Hollywood, while others endlessly play background characters who often don't even have lines. The candid comedy "Hollywood Clerks" tells the story of Jack and his fellow extras — third-class citizens in the cruel world of entertainment.
