About the series
The series tells the story of Elizabeth Holmes, who at 19 founded a company aiming to make health diagnostics as accessible as possible for everyone. Holmes managed to raise $700 million from well-known entrepreneurs and investors for her startup Theranos, but the startup itself turned out to be a fraud that landed Holmes and her partner Sunny Balwani in the defendant's dock.
