About the title
The story centers on Nate and Susan, who lived together for several years until the woman stunned her husband by saying she was unhappy in the marriage and wanted a divorce. Devastated by the change, Nate packs his things and moves into a hotel. Soon he's surprised to discover that their mutual friends are having a great time with his ex, while they've completely forgotten about him. Some time later he meets Katie, an old acquaintance, who persuades him to throw a divorce party so he can finally find the strength to start a new life....
