About the title
The film's protagonist, a woman named Jordan, works at a 911 call center, which, as is well known, handles emergency calls. Every day she has to talk to people who find themselves in difficult situations. One day a call comes in from a girl named Leah. She tells a terrifying story of having become a maniac's victim. The girl needs to be rescued, and Jordan tries with all her might to help her in real time, but makes a fatal mistake that ultimately costs Leah her life. Six months later, Jordan picks up the trail of that same criminal again. Now, taught by bitter experience, she knows how to act in such a situation.
