About the title
The story is set in the future. Some higher intelligence made contact with Earth, and soon the densely populated blue planet became nearly deserted. An alien ship remained hovering in the sky as a silent observer, showing no sign of life and making no attempt to interact with its surroundings. Under these conditions, like biblical figures, Eve and Fausto lived for many years, believing they were the last of humankind left on Earth. The more years passed, the less Eve and Fausto understood the meaning of their existence amid the remnants of civilization. But their familiar routine is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious stranger, who turns out to be a third human survivor on Earth. Her name is Daphne, and she soon completely changes Eve and Fausto's life, bringing unexpected colors and pleasures into it. Gradually, the characters come up with a dangerous plan that could cost them their lives.
