About the title
Jillian and Blair flee a cult in New Mexico and are now ready to do anything to survive. The girls find themselves in the desert with a limited food supply and, on top of that, begin to hallucinate. They keep seeing the cult leader Seth, who plays his psychological games with them. Gradually, Jillian and Blair realize that physical escape cannot solve their problems, since it's impossible to fully break free from a cult's influence when the enemy has settled inside your head.
