About the title
The film's protagonist, Bridd, is an ordinary office clerk. He leads a lonely, withdrawn, and inconspicuous life. His father left the family shortly before he was born, and his mother died a couple of years later. Bridd catches the attention of an attractive coworker, Charlotte, with whom he goes for a walk in the park. In the evening, the couple returns to his apartment, where they discover their boss's body lying in a pool of blood...
