About the title
New York, the mid-1950s. Having been released from prison, Vito Genovese learns that his position as boss of the mafia family is now held by Frank Costello, whom he must obey. Unwilling to accept the loss of power, Genovese begins plotting behind his new boss's back to have him killed.
