About the title
A quintessential B-movie slasher. It features all the elements characteristic of the genre: beautiful female victims, a psychopathic maniac in clown disguise, a creepy location, gallons of blood, and ultra-violence. Every trope is masterfully honed to perfection. With this film, the director proves that genre cinema can be excellent if approached with due diligence and love. Tarantino would certainly approve. The color palette, shooting style, and soundtrack all play on the viewer's nostalgic feelings.
