About the title
This biographical film tells the remarkable story of Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who dedicated herself to studying the mental states and behavioral traits of both animals and people with social adaptation difficulties. Thanks to the tireless faith of her family, friends, and teachers, Temple overcame nearly hopeless internal and external barriers, built a brilliant scientific career, and wrote numerous works on psychology and animal science, embodying her knowledge in a whole series of inventions that found wide use in both fields. The film is based on Temple Grandin and Margaret Scariano's book "Emergence: Labeled Autistic" and Temple Grandin's book "Thinking in Pictures".
