About the series
In search of a sensational story, metropolitan journalist Tatyana Blok ends up in a village. The reason for filming is momentous: one morning, in the village of Verkhniye Brody (across the river from Nizhniye), everyone vanished — twenty people at once. Their money, documents, and all their livestock remained behind. Tatyana takes on the investigation. For her, it's a chance to prove that she was fired from television unfairly, and that she is capable of producing quality investigative reports. But to do that, Tatyana will have to learn to live in the village — or rather, to survive in it.
