About the series
Returning from a long journey through Africa to the house of his recently deceased father, James Delaney finds himself in London caught up in a brutal web of intrigue and corruption — not only the British Crown and the East India Company, but also his late father's former wife, lay claim to the plot of land bequeathed to him on the shores of North America. However, James has his own plans for his father's gift. Entering into confrontation with powerful adversaries, the visitor from Africa seems to be dooming himself to a swift demise, but that's not the case — Delaney's arsenal holds no shortage of tricks that open any door before him.
