About the title
The tedious routine life of wealthy Drew Latham brings him back for Christmas to the suburban house of his childhood. Even the fact that other people now live in the house cannot spoil Drew's mood. For a generous fee, he offers the Valco family the chance to become his relatives for a while, and dreams of celebrating the holiday among them. But not everyone in his new family has their head turned by money, and the Valcos themselves seem to be a rare family of psychopaths.
