About the title
Doris is an ordinary, slightly awkward teenage girl. Together with her strong-willed, endlessly worried mother, she cares for her brother, who suffers from a serious illness. But their efforts aren't enough, and the boy is placed in a specialized medical facility with proper care. There, Doris strikes up an unexpected friendship with an eccentric activist who protests over one of the most pivotal medical cases in history.
