About the series
A story of tragedy and justice lies behind the new drama "Steeltown Murders." It all began in the summer of 1973, when the town and the surrounding areas of Swansea were shocked by two cases of girls going out to parties and never returning home. Their deaths triggered the largest manhunt for killers in Wales, and a team of 150 officers interviewed 35,000 people who roughly matched the description of the man last seen with Geraldine and Pauline.
